Garden Party!
We were invited to celebrate a birthday at a garden party in Brandenburg, just outside of Berlin. The weather was deliciously hot and it was nice to be surrounded by plants, good people and good food.
Our hosts spend nearly 6 months of the year here, and the rest in Berlin. It's very popular to have a milder-weather getaway spot around here. They take excellent care of their fir trees, fruit trees (plum and perhaps apple), flowers, raspberries, and herbs.
