Escaping the heat: first swim!
Today was yet another holiday in Germany, so back we went back to Zossen, outside Berlin. It was plenty hot so we were in search of a lake, or 'See' in German, called Melensee.
Here's a tiny frog.
And some very healthy, happy flowers...
This picture is in a shaded area, but the lake was quite big and provided a refreshing swim on such a hot day.
Too bad you are not on someone's payroll with all those holidays! But I'm glad you have a handy and lovely escape from the heat!

Yesterday was around 90 F, and not really humid- a good breeze helps. Zossen is about a 40 minute drive, and the lake another 5 min. But apparently there are many other lakes near Berlin. So I look forward to finding them! (I too wish I had an employer, but I am trying to make the best of the current situation.)
