Natur und Kultur

Took a walk along the Spree and then attended a classical music concert at Konzerthausorchester Berlin. It's a fabulous and attractive concert hall. The composers were Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy and Albert Roussel. Lawrence Foster, the conductor, was from Los Angeles. He was a funny sport, and made a suggestion (in German) to the audience that they search online for Danny Kaye conducting the NY Philharmonic, so I did and he's quite a ham:
